Hello, Stranger: At the Derby Book Festival

This week, I’m down in my old stamping ground of the East Midlands, to join the wonderful people at the Derby Book Festival for an event about the challenges and delights of connecting more deeply with the many strangers with whom we share our world. I’m going to be in conversation with Matt Hawthorn from the University of Derby, and we’ll be chatting about how lemurs make friends, about xenophobia and philoxenia, and about lots more.

I’m at the festival from 2.30pm - 3.30pm on Wednesday 25th May. You can get tickets for the event here.
