My book, Hello, Stranger has just been published in Korean. The Korean title is 타인이라는 가능성, which I’m told translates as “The Possibility of the Strangers.” And the subtitle is 나의 세상을 확장하는 낯선 만남들에 대하여 or “On the encounters expanding my world.” The book is translated by Kim Ha-hyun.
It’s particularly pleasing to see this book, about meeting with strangers, translated into a language I do not know, and in the process becoming something of a stranger itself. Here’s the cover, which is a thing of real beauty.
