The Snorgh Gets a Makeover

It’s a decade since my children’s book The Snorgh and the Sailor was first published. Since then, it has gone on to be a firm favourite among readers, been translated into Turkish, Finnish Korean and more, and – most delightfully of all – given rise to all kinds of creative projects in schools. For the last year or so, the book has been out of print. So I’m delighted to see that it is now coming out in a new edition, with a brand new cover by the brilliant Thomas Docherty, who brought the Snorgh to life with his luminous, witty illustrations.

Here’s a sneak preview of the new cover.

The all-new Snorgh will be hitting the shelves this August. Get yourselves a copy in time for some summer adventuring. According to Julia Donaldson (and who would dare to challenge Julia to a duel?) it is “Outstanding – adventurous and quirky.”
